TEMPO – New Fiber Splice on Connectors

Tempo Communications recently released the Splice on Connector (SOC). The SOC can terminate fiber in FTT(x), LAN, and P2P networks with SC and LC termini. The Tempo SOC is usable in any manufacturer’s fusion splicer, it doesn’t require any specialized adapters, and it doesn’t call for any additional training if the technician already knows how to fusion splice. The SOC can also be reused up to three times, drastically reducing connector loss.
